The summer season is at its end, and it's time to close your pool for the winter. Your pool cover keeps debris and rain out of the pool, but what about the accumulation ON your cover? The rainwater, melting snow & ice can damage your cover and decrease the lifespan. A cover pump will quickly and easily remove the water from the cover which is important because the weight of the water puts stress on the cover, forcing it to sag, displacing the water inside the pool and stretching the cover to the point that it tears, letting the debris into the pool. Even worse, it can cause the walls to buckle inward on an above ground or semi-inground pool. Also, when it comes time to open your pool, a dry cover makes the opening process easier. So protect the lifespan of your cover and your pool by using a cover pump.
